![]() I also teach private guitar lessons out of my studio here in montrose. its pretty laid back and my students range in age from about 8 or younger to 80. I charge $15 per 1/2 hour lesson and I try to get you in once a week on a set day and time. 1/2 hour is plenty of time for a lesson. How fast you learn depends on what you do outside of the studio on your own. I do throw some theory at you and hope you will learn to read music. Reading is the greatest tool you can have besides ear training and its not that hard to learn. We learn the basic I-IV-V chord progressions and scales and improvising techniques so you can learn songs on your own by listening or be able to sit and jam with your friends with some confidence. |
