Welcome to the website of Colorado Musician Alan Vigil. Alan has been writing and performing music professionally In Colorado and the U.S since 1978 when he Joined his first rock group. The band performed covers of popular music and played  school dances, 3.2 bars and church dances around the western slope of colorado. Since then Alan has played in bands ranging in styles from Rock to Jazz. After being out on the road he settled in Fort Collins around 1989 and decided to perform as a solo acoustic artist. Currently residing in the western Colorado town of Montrose, Alan performs as a Solo musician at Bar's, Clubs, Wedding's, Private and Corporate parties, Festivals and Concerts as well as being a  Guitarist for the Jazz-Funk group "Top Shelf". He also teaches guitar privately and volunteers for the local after school program. Being able to teach is a special gift and he holds the privilege close to his heart. Performing, though, is his passion. His performances are his true gift and the intimacy of them reveal not only his nature but nature of the people who love music.
